I sighed. Edward wasn't here....again.
"We will be back soon."
Yeah right.
It has been 4 days since he said that and all I got was 2 phone calls. One was from Alice saying not to worry. She must have 'seen' what I have been doing. I have been constantly biting my nails now.
The other phone call was from Edward. Making sure I was fine. I listened in my head what our conversation was that day.
"Bella, don't worry about us. We will be fine. Just make sure you will be fine"
"I-I'll be fine. Just come back soon."
"Promise me one thing...." He had been silent for a while. Probably waiting for my answer. "Don't do anything stupid or reckless while I'm gone...."
That was the last thing I heard from him. I wonder how they were doing, Have they found Bree yet? And when are they com-
"Bella!"
I looked up to see Jessica hovering by my desk. What is she doing here?
"Hey Jessica," I said as she sat down next to me.
"Bella, since Edward isn't here, can I sit here?" I was about to answer but she ignored me. "Soooo....." she started again, "I have a question, is it true that the Cullens moved? I have been hearing that from everyone. I even heard that Edward got into a fight with someone and he got expelled. There was even one that the new family that moved in intimidated them, so they moved awa-"
I cut her off, "No they did not move. They merely went to vacation. I don't know where, and what new family?"
"Oh," she smiled, "You didn't hear? Wow. Well I'll tell you. There are these new gi-"
Riiiiiingggg
The bell had rang for class to start. "Good Morning everyone. Take your notes from yesterday please" Mr. Myner said coming into the room.
"Well, I'll tell you later at lunch okay?"
I nodded and she turned away. Only 4 more classes to go.

Jessica and I headed to the usual lunch table we sat at. On the way there we passed the table that Edward and I sat at. It was full of people. Usually no one would sit there when Edward was gone.
We got to the table and sat down. The conversations immediately swelled out to include us in. Then Jessica had told everyone to be quiet. "You guys! Be quiet. Bella said that the rumor we heard was wrong. The Cullens didn't move they are on 'vacation'," she made quotation marks with her fingers. "They never really moved."
Everyone was silent. Then immediately a million questions came at me and Jessica. "Then who are the girls sitting at their table?" "Where did they go?"
With so many questions coming at me, I couldn't think, say anything or process anything in my mind. I can't handle this.
Jessica immediately told everyone to stop. "You guys are freaking me out. Listen will ya?"
Everyone became quiet as she explained, "The Cullens didn't move. They went on vacation. We don't know where, even Bella doesn't know."
"Then who are the new girls? They look exactly like the girls in the Cullens, but hotter." I turned to see who it was. I didn't recognize him. He had light brown spiked hair and he had semi-tan skin. Who was he?
Lauren smacked him in the shoulder, "What?" he said innocently.
"Nice one Josh!" Mike leaned across the table and gave him a high five.
After that conversations formed all around the table. Some of them occasionally including me. I looked around when I heard someone say that there was people on the Cullens' table. There I saw 3 girls sitting together. They were acting just like the Cullens at lunch, not touching their food, looking into space somewhere and not talking.
I was immediately cut off from my view when a guy had leaned over to look at the cafeteria doors. I followed his stare.
There a girl was entering the cafeteria. She looked as beautiful ad the Cullens. She had curly, black hair up to her waist. She had deep, dark brown eyes, almost black. She had the same pale shade as a vampire. I didn't know what her name was. She walked gracefully toward the other 3 girls. All of them were staring off somewhere, ignoring the whoots and whistles coming towards them.
When the girl sat, she did the same thing as everyone on her table was doing...nothing. Then she turned her head towards me and smiled. It wasn't a regular 'hello how are you' type of smile. It was more over top. More warmth and with much more friendliness.
I smiled back at her weakly. Suddenly the girl the left of the table had turned her head. She was startlingly beautiful as well. With her wavy, dark brown hair. She had much deeper and darker black eyes. A smiled formed on her face, but it wasn't the same as the other girl. It was an evil grin. My heart started beating rapidly. What are they? I have to get out of here.
